New Works: May 2013
These 3 new works are on view at the Truckee Tahoe Airport through July 26 as part of a summer group exhibition of fine art for the Airport Art Program. “Artifact” is constructed on wooden panel, and incorporates wood, textiles, mirrors, wire, with acrylic paints. “Great Sandy Desert” was inspired by a NASA photo of Australia, and is constructed on canvas with acrylic mediums. “Structure” is built on a small piece of solid oak backing, and incorporates wire mesh, textiles, metallic washers, and acrylic mediums.
