My newest paintings are on view at Martis Camp, Truckee CA through June 27th.
These 3 new works are on view at the Truckee Tahoe Airport through July 26 as part of a summer group exhibition of fine art for the Airport Art Program. “Artifact” is constructed on wooden panel, and incorporates wood, textiles, mirrors, wire, with acrylic paints. “Great Sandy Desert” was inspired by a NASA photo of Australia, and is constructed on canvas with acrylic mediums. “Structure” is built on a small piece of solid oak backing, and incorporates wire mesh, textiles, metallic washers, and acrylic mediums.
Just having a little fun on this glorious spring day… please indulge me.
Luminescence is on my mind as I create my spring collection of new works. I’ve been building up texture, and playing with sheen.
May 2013 be a joyful and harmonious year for you. My studio will be open all winter by appointment. Please send a message if you’d like to stop by to see the latest works.
Outside my studio window it’s pouring rain, so I’ve been painting up a storm.
