These 3 new works are on view at the Truckee Tahoe Airport through July 26 as part of a group exhibition of fine art for the Airport Art Program. “Artifact” is constructed on wooden panel, incorporating wood, textiles, mirrors, wire, with acrylic paints, and is priced at $2500. “Great Sandy Desert” was inspired by a NASA photo of Australia, constructed on canvas with acrylic mediums, and priced at $2000. “Structure” is built on a small piece of solid oak backing, incorporating wire mesh, textiles, metallic washers, and acrylic. A study for a larger piece in progress, “Structure” is priced at $300. All works are available for purchase through the Truckee Tahoe Airport, where a portion of sales goes toward supporting this public art program.
