My garden is coming into bloom, and the studio is in full production too. This piece from last year expresses the burst of energy I feel when summer finally comes to the High Sierra. It incorporates embroidered fabric, lame, zinc, and pine needles embedded with acrylic media on to a wood backing. Warmth, water, sunshine, flowers: a recipe for contentment.
